Primary Job Duties
Develop strong working relationships and maintain excellent communication with all internal departments, stations, partner airlines, vendors, and associated agencies
Pro-actively network with Partner Airlines Operations to plan and execute strategies for aircraft parking, repositioning, irregular operation coordination, and service recovery
Attend required briefings and meetings with agents, peers, management, and contract partners
Lead the station in coordination and communication with all departments including Dispatch, Maintenance, Crew Support, etc.
Communicate positively with employees, and provide effective communication to station personnel and flight crews
Provide direction and guidance for station agents with operational plans and partner with all managers and supervisors on daily operational strategy
Coordination and utilization of information from dispatch, flight crews, customer service, ramp, maintenance, passenger planners, and tower personnel
Keep management informed of any operation irregularities and provide feedback to strengthen the operation
Serve as liaison between dispatch, major partner control centers, airport tower, and upline/downline stations regarding air traffic control and flight information for SkyWest flights
Facilitate on-time departure, report and update all controllable delays, and arbitrate flight delay code challenges based on root cause analysis
Utilize the SkyWest weight and balance tool for pre-planning purposes, monitor radar systems, and produce and update daily Flow Sheet
Plan gate assignments for inbound and outbound flights daily
Ensure compliance with all SkyWest operating standards and daily operating procedures. Including safety and security in the airline industry
Represent SkyWest Airlines professionally, travel as needed for training and meetings, perform other duties as requested
Minimum Requirements

Be at least 18 years old
Have a High School Diploma or GED
Able to pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Ability to work under pressure during time-critical stressful situations and resolve problems/situations with critical thinking
Possess excellent multi-tasking skills
Be self-motivated, detail and goal oriented with a safety-oriented outlook
Basic knowledge or ability to gain knowledge of partner performance metrics and operating systems, including, Unimatic, SHARES, Volare’ and Aero/Jet, Pipeline, deltaterm, etc.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Ability to establish and maintain solid business relationships and good rapport within all areas of responsibility
Ability to maintain proprietary operational information and possess and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of SkyWest company and station policies, as well as station and company performance expectations
Excellent organizational skills, and fast learner
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software for moderate data entry
Proficient in keyboarding, minimum typing requirement is 30 wpm
Thorough knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures
Willing to train the right candidate
Starting at $16.00 an hour
