Primary Job Duties

Ensure training equipment and devices are operating as required in SP 2160 Training Devices Manual.

Perform routine maintenance and repair of training devices and equipment required for FAA regulated

crewmember training. Manage training equipment and devices parts, supplies and tools inventory. This is a

full-time position requiring 40 hours per week with occasional after business hours calls and repairs. This

position is located at the Flight Safety International building in Denver, CO.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILTIES

· Perform routine maintenance inspections

· Ensures the training equipment and devices are free from hazardous conditions

· Receive notification of required repair for training equipment and devices

· Identify parts and supplies required for repair replacement on training equipment and devices

· Repair reported issues on training equipment and devices

· Coordinate with vendors and SkyWest Maintenance teams in obtaining parts, supplies and when

necessary assistance in completing repairs

· Coordinate and communicate required timeframe, parts, and equipment needed to complete

training equipment and devices repairs with the Training Device Supervisor and Director InFlight

Standards

· Identify parts and supplies required for repair replacement on training equipment and devices

· Submit orders for parts, equipment, tools and supplies for repairs and to maintain inventory

· Record completed training equipment and devices repairs or when equipment or device is out of

service

· Maintain parts, equipment, supplies and tool inventory for training equipment and devices

· Submit invoices for payment of repairs for training equipment and devices

· Maintain parts, equipment, and supplies ordering information

· Maintain maintenance and pretraining inspection records

· Maintains training equipment and devices maintenance logbooks

· Attend required meetings and calls

Minimum Requirements

· This position is full-time salaried in office position with no option to work remotely located at the Flight Safety International Facility in Denver, CO consisting of 8 hours per day Monday-Friday with possible overtime and some weekend coverage. Must currently live or be willing to relocate at own expense to Denver, CO; relocation costs will not be covered by SkyWest Airlines.

· Pay for this position is an annual salary of $45,000.

· Travel to other SkyWest training facilities to support training devices and equipment when needed.

· Travel required to attend training, workshops and seminars pertinent to InFlight Training Devices Technician responsibilities which may include overnight stays. Company travel is in a nonrevenue standby status as positive space will not be provided.

· High school diploma or GED.

· Electrical, mechanical, audio visual, electronic, plumbing, welding and fabrication experience

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, (includes Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams), Adobe and iOS software

· Knowledge or ability to learn communication (Ring Central) system

· Ability to learn SkyWest Online intranet

· Able to interact with all facets of people in a professional and personable manner

· Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality

· Maintain consistent reliability

· Ability to work independently under pressure meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision

· Excellent organization skills, strong attention to detail, and a self-starter

· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

· Adhere to the direction from the Director InFlight Standards/Services and/or the Senior Vice

· President InFlight Operations

Physical and Other Requirements

· Able to push, pull and lift 50-60 pounds

· Requires long periods of standing, bending, pulling, kneeling, squatting, pushing, sitting while working on training equipment and devices, and working/reading on a computer

· Ability to work at a desk and on a computer for long periods of time

· Must wear a company compliant face mask/covering, as required
