Primary Job Duties

Clean training devices and equipment and maintain training supplies for pilot and flight attendant events. Maintain and order supply inventory.

This is a part-time position requiring 15-20 hours weekly and cannot be held consecutively with another SkyWest Airlines position.

  • Distribute and ensure training equipment and device supplies are available on a regular basis for training events

  • Clean training devices and equipment

  • Keep training devices/equipment areas clean and free or hazardous conditions

  • Maintain training device and equipment supply inventory

  • Locate and order training device and equipment supplies

  • Maintain training devices and equipment supplies vendor list

  • Submit training devices and equipment supply invoices for payment

  • Ensure adult and infant manikins are ready for scheduled training events

  • Ensure AED trainers are ready for scheduled training events

  • Clean and sanitize CPR masks and valves and manikin parts for scheduled training events

  • Attend required Company meetings

  • Attend training, workshops and seminars pertinent to InFlight Training Device/Equipment Coordinator responsibilities

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Ability to learn SkyWest Online intranet

  • Knowledge of ability to learn SkyWest Maintenance manual system

  • Skill in cleaning training equipment and devices

  • Operation of office and telephone systems

  • Maintain confidential information

  • Attention to detail in producing quality work

  • Exceptional organizational and prioritizing skills

  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines

  • Handle stressful situations professionally

  • Contribute to a positive work environment

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds

  • Requires long periods of standing, kneeling, bending and lifting while working on training devices and equipment

  • Follow directions from Manager/Director/Vice President

  • Maintain regular attendance

  • Travel to cover scheduled vacations in DEN training facility

  • Undergo required random drug/alcohol testing as required by DOT and company requirements

  • Adhere to departmental and company policy
