The SkyWest Creative team is looking for a multi-talented individual that loves to travel and would like to grow and learn with our team of creative professionals. We are searching for a candidate that has a talent for shooting and editing professional quality video and photos as well as creating dynamic motion and static graphics. Anyone who also has talents in graphic design will shine brightly against all other candidates.

  • Conceptualize, storyboard, produce, direct, shoot and edit video footage for training, recruiting, marketing and internal communications

  • Create compelling motion graphics

  • Photograph employees, equipment and aircraft in work environment and in studio settings

  • Design online/print collateral for company’s recruitment, training, communication and marketing needs.

  • Apply established corporate branding specifications to ensure work meets corporate guidelines.

  • Provides creative input and support through various stages of the design/development process as a member of the creative team

  • Effectively communicate project requests and proactively report issues, progress, and recommendations to supervisor and/or project leaders

  • Respond quickly to new project requests and changing priorities, while still maintaining established design and production standards

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with project team members through positive, team-oriented, and service conscious behavior

  • Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Must be able to travel for off-site shoots, sometimes for multiple days

Minimum Requirements

  • Video:

  • Solid understanding of the production process: preproduction, production and post-production

  • Ability to operate professional video equipment including the Sony FS5 and Sennheiser wireless microphones

  • Expert in Adobe Premiere and After Effects

  • Photography:

  • Understanding of proper exposure and composition

  • Ability to operate professional photography equipment including the Canon 5D Mark III, 60D and Alienbees strobes

  • Expert in Adobe Photoshop and image manipulation

  • Design:

  • Strong graphic design skills, visual style and thorough understanding of layout, and color theory

  • Experience with multi-page design for print

  • Expert in Adobe InDesign

  • Experience creating vector graphics in Adobe Illustrator a major plus

  • Portfolio Required (online or electronic version only)
