SkyWest Airlines AMT Pathway Program in St. George, Utah

Primary Job Duties

The SkyWest Airlines AMT Pathway Program is a non-working partnership between Aircraft Mechanic Students and SkyWest Airlines. This program allows you to continue your schooling while building relationships within SkyWest Airlines as you work towards graduation and receiving your A&P Certification.

Through this program you’ll receive:

  • Enhanced benefits eligibility and company seniority, allowing you to waive the waiting period for health and travel benefits and potentially be immediately eligible for the company performance and financial quarterly bonuses upon hire as a full A&P Mechanic

  • Opportunities to interact with and receive mentorship from SkyWest mechanic advisors

  • Up to $1,600 for A&P test fees reimbursement with a one-year commitment to SkyWest

  • Exclusive SkyWest operational experiences, including facility tours, job observing, special training and more

  • A guaranteed final interview to become a Level I Mechanic at SkyWest Airlines

  • New A&P mechanics may also qualify for up to $1500 in moving expense reimbursement plus mileage

Please note that this is a non-working, non-contract pathway program.

If you are within two months of your A&P certificate, please apply for the SkyWest A&P mechanic position.

Minimum Requirements

The AMT Pathway Program is available at all Maintenance school locations.

  • Maintain attendance and good standing within school/program

  • Be within 2 months - 2 years from completing your A&P certification (if more than 2 years away, please wait to apply, if less than 2 months, please apply directly to an A&P Mechanic position)

  • Verbal and written communication skills
