SkyWest Airlines Crew Planner in St. George, Utah
Primary Job Duties
Responsible for monthly crew pairing construction and monthly crew bid processes.
Coordinate with Market Development for monthly schedule information and files needed to begin the monthly bid process
Adjust and optimize monthly pairings based on various constraints including mainline schedules, FAR’s/policy, cost, domicile staffing and crewmember preferences
Manage and coordinate crewmember monthly bid process
Load CrewTrac with monthly crew pairings and ensure all flights are covered
Responsible for loading monthly information into Crew Bidding system and maintain all monthly bid data within the computer system
Maintain Crew Bid seniority lists
Coordinate with all departments for accurate input of pre-assignments for crewmembers
Distribute the pairing solutions to scheduling liaison group for evaluation
Meet and/or correspond with scheduling liaison group regarding monthly schedules
Maintain marketing bulletins, make changes as necessary and notify crewmembers.
Generate monthly hotel files
Evaluate domiciles on a monthly basis
Meet with Market Development, Dispatch, and Maintenance each month to discuss upcoming events, solutions to past problems, and review aircraft positioning for the preceding month
Adjust abnormal scheduling occurrences (holidays, charters, schedule changes, etc.)
Be available to answer questions regarding any aspect of Crew Planning from management as well as all departments
Generate monthly and quarterly reports listing planning statistics
Generate monthly pairing statistical reports
Maintain master domicile list of crewmembers including all medicals, military, transfers, family leave, and class awards
Other duties assigned
Minimum Requirements
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
Proven and proficient in all FAR’s pertaining to crewmember scheduling
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Self-motivated, team player
Must be able to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime to meet monthly deadlines
Able to respond quickly to change.
Preferred: 2 years of SkyWest Crew Scheduler or other Crew Planning/Aircraft Routing experience or equivalent
Physical and Other Requirements
Schedule will be 4 10-hour weekday shifts
This position is based at SkyWest Headquarters in St. George, UT (no remote positions available)
