Primary Job Duties

  • Instill/exhibit SkyWest Guiding Principles in daily operation

  • Coordinate vendor work (cleaning, plumbing, construction, grounds)

  • Conduct general building maintenance to include:

  • Bulb replacement

  • Touch-up painting

  • Minor drywall repair

  • HVAC light maintenance

  • Systems furniture installations and modifications

  • Assist in the physical security of SkyWest properties which includes, but not limited to:

  • Security check of door nightly

  • Installation of security locks and cameras

  • Manage Systems Oversight

  • HVAC Client

  • Access Manager Client

  • Oversee the daily tasks of other HDQ maintenance personnel

  • Assist in the training of other HDQ maintenance personnel in these tasks

  • Maintain a schedule so as to assure a timely response to after hours incidents (on call).

  • Propose facility improvements through Supervisor and Manager

  • Maintain company standards in furniture configurations and policies

Minimum Requirements

This job has flexible hours, part-time, or full-time available.

  • The position holder must possess the following skills, abilities, and knowledge:

  • Ability to lift a minimum 70 lb on a regular basis

  • Working knowledge of basic trade skills (i.e., plumbing, painting, cleaning)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and diplomacy

  • Takes initiative

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and diplomacy

  • Working knowledge of various software systems, such as HVAC controls and Microsoft Office software

  • Working knowledge in CAD software; ability to view and manipulate

  • Flexible and able to be on-call during various hours and shifts in case of an emergency

  • Internal applicant may not possess any current counseling statements or similar corrective action in their personnel file

  • External applicants must satisfactorily complete Federal background check requirements

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lb on a regular basis

  • Must wear a company compliant face mask/covering, as required
