SkyWest Airlines Manager of Fleet Coordination in St. George, Utah

Primary Job Duties

As the Manager of Fleet Coordination, you will be responsible for the direction and supervision of the various members of our Fleet Coordination organization.

  • The Manager of Fleet Coordination is responsible to ensure that the personnel within the Fleet Coordination organizations are adequately trained and receive ongoing training with regard to the specified job functions

  • Responsible for the Fleet Coordination Department and oversee the Fleet Coordinators and their responsibilities as outlined in GMM 2.1.14

  • Work with SkyWest leadership to support the departmental goals and objectives

  • Directly report to the Director of MX Planning and Support

  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of fleet dispatch reliability by assuring repeat items are monitored, tracked and action planned developed

  • Reviewing MISRs, SDRs, ODIs and other system data

  • Provides recommendation for staffing or other needs of those areas he/she is responsible.

  • Assist in monitoring aircraft inspection programs.

  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Director of MX Planning and Support Additional Duties/Responsibilities as identified in GMM Sections and SOPs

  • Recommends maintenance program adjustments

  • Responsible for assuring communication with other MX departments, aircraft manufacturers and vendors

Minimum Requirements

  • Hold a valid A&P Certificate

  • Familiar with SkyWest manuals

  • Exercises good judgement in working with people as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety

  • Has a thorough knowledge of GMM Policy and Procedures

  • Familiar with Federal Aviation Regulations

  • Level 3 or equivalent experience preferred

  • Have working knowledge of SkyTrack, the Fleet Coordination and Reliability Programs, the SkyWest Time Limits Manual and the GMM

  • Have appropriate skills with computer and data analysis

  • Good communication, organization, scheduling and budgeting skills

  • Have working knowledge of CRJ-200, 700, 900 and ERJ-175 systems

  • Have working knowledge of aircraft manufacturer, vendor communications and notification procedures

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Must live in or be willing to relocate to St. George, UT

  • Willingness and ability to travel as required

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
