Primary Job Duties

As a Reliability Analyst you must be an experienced analyst with strong Excel skills, knowledge of SkyTrack and MX Reports. Ability to communicate and work well with others. Preferred experienced A&P mechanic and/or Avionic Technician working on ACFT and component reliability issues.

  • Perform a review of the previous day's maintenance incidents causing cancels, delays, aborted takeoffs, diversions or passenger inconvenience events and ensure they are recorded correctly

  • Assist Reliability Clerks interpreting and understanding maintenance and pilot write-ups.

  • Monitor ATA coding keywords and adjust as necessary to maintain a consistent and accurate ATA coding program

  • Assist fleet coordinators, maintenance supervisors and management with research of maintenance information

  • Provide a monthly Maintenance Interruption Summary Report for the FAA

  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly Reliability Report for SkyWest Management and the FAA

  • Prepare monthly maintenance reports for vendors and manufacturers

  • Perform analysis of scheduled tasks for maintaining an effective maintenance inspection program

  • Prepare detailed analysis of alerting ATAs and creating M-38s (Alert Notification) forms when applicable

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager of Reliability

Minimum Requirements

  • Familiar with SkyWest Airlines policies and procedures

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong computer skills, including the ability to use various reporting, analysis and data management programs

  • Working knowledge of SkyTrack preferred

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Physical ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time

  • High School graduate or GED

  • A&P license preferred
